Spring Flowers

You shouldn't put your flowers out until early May because it could get really cold fast. Last year we did it and a lot of our flowers died. If you want to plant flowers now (not in Summer) you could plant them in containers. That way you can move it into your house if it gets cold. Of course, I'm in Wisconsin so if you are in a lower state, you might be able to plant them sooner.

Halloween Animals

Some people think that bats are very scary, but they aren't. They are actually pretty cool. For instance, some of their fingers are used for keeping their wings straight and they are mammals.
They use sound to get their prey and they are not blind.

I'm not a hippie, but . . .

Don't litter all the time. Sometimes it can hurt animals. Oil spills can hurt sea birds. Glass on the fields can hurt and cut the animals in their insides. Don't pollute the air because it hurts the birds who fly in it. Don't cut down rain forests because that can kill lots of animals.

Post from Emily: Kendall's Little Sister

Horses eat hay a lot and people horse ride on them. Horses eat carrots and apples too. H is for hay and horse. E is for Emily.

Watch Out

You know snowball fights might be fun, but they can be dangerous to animals climbing trees. The snowball hits them right off the tree so they might be hurt when they fall off.

Seperate the Goats from the Sheep

Do not put prey and predator together. It might hurt the prey a lot. Let's say you put a horse and a cheetah together. The horse would not do well.

Be Quiet

If you are on a nature trail and see an animal, be quiet because if you are loud you might scare it away. Sometimes it is fun to see animals in their natural habitat. If you are loud you might disturb them.

Helping Animals

Please keep endangered species safe.

My First Post

Beware of the weather. If it is going to be hot, dress in short-sleeves. If it is going to be cold, dress in long-sleeves. Sometimes it will be both, so beware of the weather.
